Color Magic — Privacy Policy

Color Magic collects nothing. It contains no networking code, so it has no way to send anything anywhere.
What we collect
Nothing. Color Magic does not collect, transmit or share any personal information about you or your child.
Permissions
The Google Play version declares exactly one thing in its manifest: the Google Play billing permission, which is what allows the one-time purchase to happen. It is not a runtime permission, you are never asked to grant it, and it gives the app no access to your device, your files, your location, or anything about you. The app requests no other permissions of any kind.
What is stored on your device
The app saves the following on the device itself, where only the app can read it. None of it leaves the device.
- The pages your child has coloured, as images
- Which pages have been finished, and how far through each one they are
- Whether sound and music are switched on
- Whether the full book has been purchased
Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
Advertising and analytics
There are no adverts, no analytics, no crash-reporting SDK, no tracking and no third-party SDKs of any kind in this app.
Google Play itself reports anonymous, aggregated crash and performance statistics to us for any app on the store. We never see who you are, and we receive no information about your child.
Purchases
The full book can be unlocked with a single one-time purchase. That purchase is handled entirely by Google Play and is tied to the buyer's Google account, which is what allows it to be restored on a new device. We never see, receive or store your name, email address or payment details — Google tells the app only whether the purchase exists.
Children's privacy
This app is intended for children and their families, and is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the GDPR's provisions for children.
Because the app collects no data whatsoever, there is nothing to consent to, nothing to request access to, and nothing to delete other than by uninstalling the app. There is no way for a child to communicate with anyone, make a purchase without an adult answering an arithmetic question first, or leave the app.
Changes
If a future version of the app ever collects anything — for example if analytics or crash reporting were added — this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described in the app's release notes on Google Play.
